Editor’s Notes: Matthew M. Williams first teased his futuristic new Nike sneaker, the Zoom MMW 4, in February of this year. More recently, official images of the shoe have surfaced, in addition to numerous retailer listings, which point to a December 21 release date.

The Zoom MMW 4 draws heavily from Nike's Kanye West-approved Road Warrior silhouette, with its Nike Shox-inspired and Zoom Air-featuring midsole. Foam is also implemented in the sole unit for added comfort, extending from the midfoot to the heel. The innovate Pebax plates then bear chrome detailing, matching the silver overlay on the upper.

The upper of the Zoom MMW 4 is predominantly constructed from different types of mesh joined together by fused seams. The aforementioned chrome silver overlay appears atop the Swoosh logo on the side, while an additional, larger Swoosh can be found on the opposing side. Matthew M. Williams branding has been applied to the lace keeper, with his initials MMW emerging above the toe box and on the insole and heel.
