Editor's Notes: New Balance does not know what it means to chill.

It's proved itself near impossible to go a week without a standout release from the label in the past couple of years. If you are still recovering from the host of new collaborations they presented on the runway during the SS23 shows, it's time to catch up.

There's a new selection of 2002r sneakers incoming, aptly titled the "R Pack", arriving straight after the model's second sellout Basement collaboration and just before a colorful iteration created with Australia's Up There store is slated to release.

Since the Protection Pack first dropped in 2021, the model's visibility on our Instagram feeds increased tenfold — and so has its sell-out times. Of course, New Balance only strokes this fire by continuing to bring out more colorways which ensures that the 2002r gets the credit it deserves.

A remastered version of the 2002, the sneaker has been outfitted with the label's latest technology which gives it the comfort that NB's sneaker arsenal is renowned for. Working together for all-day comfort is ABZORB cushioning in the midsole and an N-ergy shock-absorbing outsole.

In the latest "R Pack", there's a total of four colorways to choose from. All arriving with contrast grey New Balance branding, the "Sweet Caramel" colorway also has contrast grey paneling on the upper, while "Dark Camo", "Navy", and "Phantom" colorways all keep to one consistent shade on the mixed-material upper. Although, the latter does differentiate itself from the rest by including a slightly yellowed midsole.
