Editor’s Notes: Nike's innovative Adapt Auto Max has surfaced in a new all-black colorway. The stealthy sneaker recently sold out on Nike China, although the overseas arrival points to a stateside release likely in the near future.

The Adapt Auto Max first launched on Air Max Day earlier in the year. Since, the self-lacing model has gone on to release in numerous colorways, leading up to the all-black iteration.

At the core, the silhouette serves as a futuristic take on OG Nike running shoes and Tinker Hatfield's most iconic designs. It features Nike FitAdapt technology, which allows the wearer to customize the fit of the sneaker and thus control it with an app or by pressing the buttons on the midsole.

Nike has yet to announce a US release for the black Adapt Auto Max, but expect the colorway to arrive soon.
