Editor’s Notes: Nike is gearing up to release a special iteration of the Air Force 1 Low that harkens back to 2002 when it commemorated an international football tournament in Japan. Drawing from the original, the 2021 version of the "I Believe" colorway is scheduled to arrive in just a matter of days on January 9.

At first glance, the "I Believe" Air Force 1 Low appears to be a fairly standard white AF1 with red accents. Nike has implemented a wear-away upper, however, one that reveals a multicolored graphic inspired by traditional Japanese Daruma dolls as the sneaker is worn over time.

Unfortunately, the thematic Air Force 1 Low will reportedly release exclusively in Japan, so you may want to call on your overseas plug — or — wait until the sneaker hits the resale market.
