Making use of the silhouette that kick-started it all, the Nike Air Jordan 1 "Court Purple" will be familiar to Jordan Brand fans who remember the 2018 release of the same name. The 2018 model's "Black Toe" elements get switched out for more of the royal purple hue for a subtle 2020 reworking. The US release was pushed back, reportedly due to Covide-19-related delays. However, you can still secure the new sneaker at StockX.

As well as opting for purple in place of the black toe color-blocking, the 2018 shoe's black overlays are swapped out for royal purple, achieving a lighter aesthetic that's perfect for Spring/Summer.

Elsewhere the 2020 "Court Purple" stays true to the iconic silhouette that first appeared in 1985. Mirroring the form of the "Chicago" red colorway worn by Michael Jordan, but changing up the color, the sneaker is stamped proudly with the Wings logo that has adorned the silhouette for 35 years.

StockX market data shows that the Nike Air Jordan 1 "Court Purple" is selling for an average price of $275 on the site currently, having reached a 52-week high of almost $500.
