The new Jordans keep on coming, and we're not complaining. Originally dropped as a Japan-exclusive back in 2001, the Nike Air Jordan 1 “Tokyo” finally gets a worldwide release in all its silver glory this week. The sneaker hit a limited list of stores on Friday, August 7, but you can still secure it at StockX.

Part of Nike's and Jordan Brand's Japan-only Co.JP line, the 2001 release of the Air Jordan 1 “Tokyo” was limited to 2,001 pairs. Staying true to the aesthetic of the OG shoe, the retro edition sticks with the all-over metallic look, as well as the clean white outsole and iconic Air Jordan wings emblem at the heel collar.

The early 2000s marked a time when Jordan Brand ventured from the classic lineup of color combinations to unexplored colorways like the "Tokyo," a release that deserves a place in the silhouette's hall of fame.  StockX market data shows that the remaster is currently selling for an average of $310 and reached a 52-week high price of $700.
