Nike Gato, the star you are. Well, the Swoosh sneaker is certainly acting the part with its new twinkling colorways.

Through Nike's recent SNKRS Showcase, the sportswear giant gave fans a taste of what's dropping in 2025. The latest preview teased the return of Nike's iconic Air Max Craze and more chunk-tastic Air Max Muse sneakers for the new year. Nike also revealed new colorways for its recently reborn classic, the Nike Gato.

During the showcase, the Nike Gato LV8 appeared in two incredibly shiny colorways, one silver and the other bright gold. The shoes' gleaming metallic overlays met the classic, similar-toned mesh moments for a glistening and tonal finish.

And so the shiny sneaker chronicles continues. After Wales Bonner's adidas Samba and Miu Miu's luxury New Balance sneakers, the future of metallic shoes looks even brighter with Nike's newest Gato sneakers.

Nike's Gato guest-starred in a previous Nike SNKRS Showcase, where the label confirmed its return for 2024. And Nike delivered on its promise, reintroducing the model as a stylish casual shoe with sprinkles of its past skate life.

So far into its comeback era, the Nike Gato has graced store shelves with creamy leather constructions, luscious suede makeovers, and equally appealing color combinations.

Those same shelves are about to look extra good (and shiny) in the summer when these new Gatos drop.
