Brand: Nike

Model: Kobe 5 Protro “PJ Tucker PE”

Key Features: P. J. Tucker’s Kobe 5 Protro PE is as colorful as his off-court style and on-court footwear choices. The NBA’s undisputed king of sneakers has dressed Kobe’s arguably best signature sneaker in predominantly grey with hits of purple, red, and blue, as well as lime green laces.

Release Date: September 25

Price: $180

Buy: Nike SNKRS

Editor’s Notes: Last month, P.J. Tucker teased a pair of Kobe 5 Protro PEs that he said were going to be released in September. While Tucker and Nikee have made good on that promise, the pair that is actually being released looks a lot different to the originally teased pair. Instead of the purple and blue checkerboard and zebra pattern, the actual retail pair features a grey leopard print base with hits of bright colors, meant to represent Tucker’s wild off-court style.

The Nike Kobe 5 Protro PJ Tucker PE drops on September 25 via Nike SNKRS.
