Editor’s Notes: Over the past few years Kobe Bryant's signature sneakers have been retroed as part of a “Protro” line, which injects the sneakers with modern performance technology while keeping the OG design intact. Only a select few of Kobe’s signature sneakers have been re-released since the NBA legend’s tragic death in January, with the highly popular Nike Kobe 6 "Grinch" set to be the next.

True Kobe fans recognize the poisonous colorway from when it was debuted by the Mamba himself on Christmas Day in 2010 in his highly-anticipated match-up against the Miami Heat’s “Big Three.” The re-release looks almost identical to the 2010 OG, but with modern tech upgrades to the classic Kobe 6.

Look for the Nike Kobe 6 Protro “Grinch” to release this Christmas Eve at Nike.com. The retail price is set at $180.
