Editor’s Notes: Today PUMA has unveiled the return of the Ralph Sampson OG basketball sneaker from its archive. The kick was NBA Hall-of-Famer Ralph Sampson’s signature on-court sneaker in the ’80s when he played for the Houston Rockets.

PUMA’s line of court shoes for the 7-foot 4-inch player were custom-made to fulfill Sampson's on-court needs and tailored to fit his size 17 feet. Now the model returns as a sports-inspired street style variant, coming in PUMA’s white/gray/violet/peacoat colorway last seen in 1985.

Both versions of the Ralph Sampson OG will be available exclusively at KITH on April 13, before a wider drop in-store and online at PUMA on April 27, as well as at select global retailers.
