Double Tap to Zoom

After dropping trailers for new seasons of Narcos: Mexico and Sex Education, Netflix is now giving us a closer look at its upcoming Norwegian superhero show, Ragnarok. And while it shouldn't be confused with Marvel's Thor: Ragnarok, it does deliver a lot of Norse mythology-inspired goodness.

The show is set in a small Norwegian town called Edda as it starts experiencing a drastically changing climate — violent downpours, melting poles, and warm winters. The six-part series follows the town as it heads towards "Ragnarok" (an apocalypse in Norse mythology), unless someone can save them. Enter Magne, the main character, a high-schooler with supernatural powers.

Created by Adam Price, the drama includes cast from Norwegian hit shows such as Skam and will be available on Netflix starting January 31. Check out the trailer below.
