Editor’s Notes: Reebok continues to bring back OG colorways in celebration of the Instapump Fury’s 25th anniversary. This time, it’s the purple colorway that gets a re-release, following the original red/yellow/black pair that dropped in April. The colorway is already available in Europe and is set to drop on August 2 in Japan.
Following its debut in 1994, the Steven Smith-designed Instapump Fury became an icon among sneakerheads. The first version actually dropped in March 1994, but due to the citron rubber outsoles degrading after light use, an improved version with a more durable carbon-infused black rubber outsole followed in September 1994.
