Last month, we received our first look at adidas' new collaboration with The Simpsons, paying homage to Springfield's Krusty Burger. Since then, we've learned that the much-anticipated ZX 10000 will release on February 12, as the coinciding raffle for the sneaker has officially launched.

The "Krusty Burger" ZX 10000 is characterized by its bold lines, embroidery, chenille, and lace jewels, all of which is a nod to the iconic Simpsons restaurant. You can go ahead and enter the raffle for the collaborative pair through the adidas app and exclusively on Confirmed in the US. The sneaker will be available globally on February 12 for $130.

We initially highlighted the "Krusty Burger" ZX 10000 in a daily sneaker roundup, which also featured Jean Paul Gaultier's wild reimagining of the sacai x Nike VaporWaffle, Paperboy Paris' New Balance 992, a Chicago Bulls colorway of the Air Jordan 1, and a new "Tiffany" Dunk-esque delivery.

Read on to get the latest info about The Simpsons x adidas ZX 10000 "Krusty Burger" and more.

The Simpsons x adidas ZX 10000 "Krusty Burger"

Release Date: February 12

Where to Buy: adidas.com

Editor’s Notes: adidas is paying homage to The Simpsons with a new ZX 10000 release. The colorful collaboration draws inspiration from Krusty Burger, the fictional fast food chain from the iconic animated series. Select design details on the shoe reference the Krusty Burger menu, and others mimic the restaurant's mascot, Krusty the Clown.

Release Date: TBA

Where to Buy: TBA

Editor’s Notes: As sacai founder Chitose Abe was tapped to guest design for Jean Paul Gaultier, it appears the two have worked on more than just a couture line. Ahead of a debut in the Abe x Gaultier runway show, a Jean Paul Gaultier x sacai x Nike VaporWaffle has surfaced. The mid-top sneaker boasts repetitive elements of which the sacai x Nike sneakers are known for, while also incorporating enlarged stitching and a collage of materials. It remains to be seen if the Jean Paul Gaultier x sacai x Nike collaboration will release, but expect to hear more as we near Abe's JPG couture collection debut.

Release Date: Rumored for Fall 2021

Where to Buy: TBA

Editor’s Notes: Nike is expected to release a Chicago Bulls colorway of the Air Jordan 1 for Fall 2021. With no imagery to be seen quite yet, we're left guessing what the scheme will look like exactly. It may be a reissue of the "Chicago" or "Black Toe" colorways, for starters. But what we do know is the Air Jordan 1 will be led by black and white colors, paired with varsity red. This is one release you'll certainly want to keep an eye out for.

Paperboy Paris x New Balance 992

Release Date: January 30

Where to Buy: In-store at Paperboy Paris

Editor’s Notes: Parisian cafe Paperboy is no stranger to crossing over into the world of fashion. For their latest foray, the restaurant has teamed up with New Balance for a playful reimagining of the 992. While little is known about the sneaker collab, it appears to be chicken-inspired, as teased in the on-hand preview. Unfortunately, the Paperboy x New Balance 992 will not be releasing online — at least initially — as a drop is scheduled to take place exclusively at the Paris shop (137 Rue Amelot, 75011).

Air Jordan 1 Low “Tropical Twist”

Release Date: TBA

Where to Buy: Nike

Editor’s Notes: Fans of Diamond Supply's coveted "Tiffany" Dunks from 2005 will likely be drawn to this new colorway of the Air Jordan 1 Low. While it doesn't hold the same allure, it's undeniable that the "Tropical Twist" iteration looks somewhat similar to the "Tiffany" pair. The upper is done up in the familiar teal and black color combination, as the Swoosh alongside then boasts a gradient effect. Those interested can expect the Air Jordan 1 Low "Tropical Twist" to release soon for $100, according to reports.
