Nike and the Women's National Basketball Association have teamed up to design genuinely good-looking Air Force 1s that celebrate the league.

The collaborative Air Force 1 Low Jewel sneaker gets flooded out in orange suede, basically going all in on the WNBA's signature color. Meanwhile, subtle logos are stamped throughout, like an embossed "WNBA" near the toe box and the league's logo embroidered over the Nike Air on the heel.

Of course, fans can count on the usual AF1 touches like the platformed Air soles and perforated toe box. The shoes also feature a jeweled Swoosh, which has been used on some previous Air Force 1 releases. With the WNBA sneakers, it's like saying the league is a gem. And it is.

As an equity investor, Nike continues to pour into WNBA. The brand has dished out impressive signature sneakers for players like Sabrina Ionescu, A'ja Wilson, and Caitlin Clark. It has also done cool releases celebrating the WNBA's biggest moments, like All-Star Weekend, its 30th anniversary, and Wilson's third MVP title.

The all-suede, all-orange take on Nike's most famous basketball shoes isn't doing a lot, but it says just enough. It's quite literally the perfect WNBA sneaker. And it comes just in time for the WNBA Playoffs, which kick off on September 27.

The WNBA x Nike Air Force 1 Low Jewel sneakers are now available on the WNBA's website for $130. Nike has also designed tonal pairs for the Indiana Fever and New York Liberty (the latter has already sold out).
