YG will soon be releasing his first sneaker. The Compton-born rapper gave us a look at the silhouette this week, which will launch under his 4Hunnid brand.

You'll immediately see that the low-top shoe draws heavily from Nike's iconic Cortez, which is fitting seeing as the Swoosh sneaker is a West Coast staple. YG has teased the shoe in four colorways, each featuring a flame insignia on the side. The model then bears "The Flame" branding on the tongue.

Like many hip-hop artists, YG has strong ties to the sneaker industry. In 2018, for example, the style icon linked with BAIT and Reebok on an all-red Classic Nylon for NBA All-Star Weekend.

According to the official 4Hunnid Instagram account, the sneaker, seemingly called "The Flame," will arrive in March 2021. Be sure to check back here for release specifics.
