Young Thug is facing backlash after sharing a misgendered tweet aimed at Dwyane Wade's 12-year-old daughter, Zaya, who recently came out as transgender.

In the now-deleted tweet, Thug wrote: "All I wanna say to Dwyane son is ‘GOD DONT MAKE MISTAKES’ but hey live your true self." In another tweet, the rapper appeared to call Zaya "god's best creation." Check it out below.

Last week, the former NBA athlete went on national TV to discuss his daughter's journey. Sitting down with Ellen DeGeneres, Wade recalled how his daughter, formerly named Zion, came out as transgender to him and his wife Gabrielle Union. "I looked at [Zaya] and said, you are a leader. It’s our opportunity to allow you to be a voice."

The Internet is currently divided on Thug's recent "transphobic" tweet. So far, the rapper hasn't responded to the backlash.
