The good news for Shia LaBeouf and those who worked on Man Down is that the film experienced a 200 percent increase in ticket sales since opening in the UK. The bad news is that now totals to just three tickets sold for the military picture across the pond, ranking among the lowest ever.
On its UK premiere day, Man Down, which stars LaBeouf as a PTSD-suffering U.S. soldier returning home from Afghanistan, had just one solitary viewer. Since then, a total of three tickets have been purchased, prompting the film to pull itself from showing in England.
It is worthy of note, however, that the movie was only available for viewing in one theater, just once a day. Nevertheless, the numbers were of course still found considerably lacking.
In addition to LaBeouf, the film also stars Gary Oldman, Jai Courtney and Kate Mara, so it's not like the cast was made up of a bunch of no-names.
Man Down opened in the U.S. this past December, earning $454,490 USD in ticket sales.
