Ahead of this summer's release, here we get a look at a trio of new TV spots for director Nikolaj Arcel's The Dark Tower. The movie pits Idris Elba and Matthew McConaughey alongside one another, as "the Gunslinger, Roland Deschain, roams an Old West-like landscape where the world has moved on, in pursuit of the man in black." All the while, Roland is also in search of Dark Tower, in the hopes that reaching it will preserve the dying world.

The action-packed TV spots are in turn filled with epic gunfights, revealing new footage from the film. We also get a better sense of just how dangerous the man in black can be, as you can check it all out above and below.

An adaptation of Stephen King’s The Dark Tower series, you can look forward to the picture landing in theaters August 4.
