Braun reimagined what good product design could be — sleek, minimal, stylish, and boiling down to pure essential function. The brand’s approach to design is seen in the world's most iconic products, and a century after the brand’s founding, it remains as relevant today as 100 years ago thanks to products that are simple, useful, and built to last. The Braun x Highsnobiety collection serves to celebrate Braun’s longevity and the impact its designs continue to have on our culture. For the project, we perfected the silhouettes of our favorite basics so they will become wardrobe staples years down the road — because good design never goes out of style. Pieces like the SM 31 Hoodie are produced and finished in Portugal using high-quality materials that coincide with Braun’s dedication to superior craftsmanship. On the back of the pullover we showcase an iconic design by industrial designers Gerd Alfred Müller and Hans Gugelot — the sixtant SM 31 shaver — which went on to become Braun’s first mass consumer product in the new design era, a product so successful it could be sold at a significantly higher price point than similar shavers from competitors.
