The art world can be an intimidating place. With HIGHArt, Highsnobiety is aiming to break down the entry barrier and steer clear of the elitist mindset that is often associated with the art industry. The HIGHArt collection spotlights artists, brands, and institutions that transcend the art space with both classic and quirky creations spanning apparel, accessories, home goods, and collectibles. Much of what makes HIGHArt so special is collaboration. American DJ, producer, and electronic musician Honey Dijon has two separate joint efforts showcased in the HIGHArt initiative, including a capsule with late great American artist Steven Arnold, who was a protégé of the legendary Salvador Dalí. As Arnold became a queer icon in the 1960s and ‘70s for his surreal art revolving around gender fluidity and non-binary consciousness, here, some of his works in turn take over clothing silhouettes made under Honey Dijon’s COMME des GARÇONS line, Honey Fucking Dijon. Garments like the Asymmetrical Woven Skirt arrive in a black and white color and allow you to venture out in a certified wearable work of art.
