The newest version of the adidas Gazelle Bold lets the dogs out. Literally.

adidas has essentially transformed its thick-soled sneaker into the Gazelle Bold sandal, an open-toe platform summer shoe.

It keeps the Gazelle Bold's triple-stacked soles (and shoelaces), but adidas has cut out the toe box and the heels to let in more air during those warmer than usual days. It has also thrown in a back strap for a secure ride while on the move.

It's not the first vacation-ready Gazelle to step into the scene. adidas has also designed Gazelle Beach slides, which feature a similar design but with much less sole.

Imagine if the Gazelle Stack got a sandal moment. May the bravest ankles slay, truly.

In classic Gazelle fashion, the platformed sandal version comes in several stylish options, including denim, classic suede, and pairs with snakeskin strips.

The Gazelle Bold sandal, in its many flavors, are already here and available on adidas Japan's website for ¥12,100, which is around $76.
