Earlier this evening Kanye West and adidas Originals unveiled their long awaited collaboration as part of New York Fashion Week. Dubbed YEEZY SEASON 1, the inaugural Fall/Winter 2015 collection of men’s and women’s apparel and footwear was presented in a show conceptualized by West in close collaboration with contemporary artist Vanessa Beecroft. The men's collection played on Kanye's aesthetic as of late with distressed military inspired garments, vests, knits and a muted color palette of nude, military green, blue-grey and black, while the women's offering was comprised primarily of utilitarian looks including sheer leggings and bodysuits. In terms of footwear, the coveted Yeezy Boost 750 made an expected appearance alongside a woven lo-top Yeezy Boost, platform snow boots and women's suede stiletto heels.

The collection was described by Kanye West as the world’s first “solutions-based” clothing line, he says “I don’t want the clothes to be the life, I want the clothes to help the life.” At the show Kanye also debuted a new track from his upcoming album entitled "Wolves," with Vic Mensa and Sia, which you can hear in the video below.
