As society’s gradual return to normalcy continues, reacclimating to office life means putting a bit more effort into your fits. It’s the perfect opportunity to start fresh and break in a pair of raw denim, which is why we connected with AG Jeans to bless a few of our staffers with pairs from their latest collection.

If you haven’t heard of AG Jeans yet, the Los Angeles-based label was founded in 2000 and quickly became known for its sustainable manufacturing and eco-minded methods. Through major innovations in production, they led the charge on environmentally conscious design and construction, like using laser finishing, solar energy, and water recycling.

With just over two decades in the game, AG Jeans is commemorating its premium denim heritage with a capsule collection of 20 of the finest selvages sourced from 12 of the world’s most respected denim mills. They spent over a year exploring countries with rich histories in denim-making and authentic indigo dying techniques to get every piece right.

From Cone Denim mills to Kurabo, Candiani, and Atlantic mills, discover the limited-edition capsule at agjeans.com and read on to see how our staffers are rocking them.

Jessa Butler, Activations Manager, Wears the Tellis in ‘Greensboro’

Highsnobiety, Highsnobiety

“All my jeans are completely different. I'm not one of those people who own three pairs of the same pants because they’re a classic fit. Nope! Every pair of jeans I have serves a different purpose for any mood I'm feeling. I styled the Tellis in Greensboro with an oversized sweater vest for a casual work fit.

What I love about the Tellis is that you can tell they are super high quality and the wash is great — it could go with anything.”

Marlon Crook, Digital Campaign Manager, Wears the Tellis in ‘Kobe’

“I need to be as comfortable in my jeans as I am in my own skin. They must be flexible enough to maneuver through my day whether I’m watering the plants or cooking up new music. These AG jeans were definitely up for the job. I styled the classic black Kobe denim with a statement tee from a fire Black-owned brand and some of my favorite Air Forces.”

George Ocampo, Creative Director, Wears the Tellis in ‘2 Years Sapporo’

"I always size up on my jeans to make sure I can stay cozy even at work — extra length is always nice for the sneaker stack, too. I'm often wearing a lot of black, so I enjoy this Sapporo wash for giving some natural colors and textures to play with and make things a bit less monochrome."
