Without question, the University of Oregon football team has the strongest lineup of player edition footwear — both on- and off-field. But the latest, a “Tinker” Air Jordan 3 with removable Swooshes, is probably its best yet.
This particular PE sports the school’s iconic green on a full suede upper, with hits of yellow on the tongue’s Jumpman logo and on one of two different-colored removable Swooshes. The Oregon “O” takes the place of the Nike Air logo on the heel to finish a very strong look.
While U of O athletes have received Air Jordan 3 PEs in the past, including the “Pit Crew” iteration of 2011, this is the first Swoosh-wielding "Tinker" version made for the Ducks.
Previous player editions are now listed for thousands of dollars on various reseller sites due to their insane rarity. Houston Rockets forward P.J. Tucker is a well-known fan of rare kicks and has even worn Oregon PE Jordans and LeBrons during NBA games.
