After announcing the Apple Card, Apple TV+ streaming service and Apple News+, the Cupertino tech company has also announced its all-new Apple Arcade, touted as the "world's first" subscription-based games service for mobile, desktop and the living room. Hundreds of titles from top video game publishers such as Disney, Lego, Sega, Cartoon Network, Konami and more will be offered.

With a subscription to Apple Arcade, customers will have access to over 100 new and exclusive games that can be played both online and offline across Apple devices, while your entire family can also play by using Family Sharing with one subscription fee. Pricing has not been announced as of yet.

Apple Arcade will be available via a dedicated tab on the App Store, and games will be curated by Apple's team of App Store editors. The company says that the featured games offered will be on personalized recommendations, and Apple even assures that Apple Arcade games prioritize privacy, as it cannot collect any data about the user without their consent.

All Apple Arcade games will be all-you-can-play experiences, along with all features, content, and updates included with no extra fees. In addition, no ads or in-app purchases are necessary.

Apple Arcade is slated to launch during fall 2019 in more than 150 countries. Additionally, Apple is asking video game developers whore interested in being considered for Apple Arcade to visit their dedicated page here.
