Vandy the Pink is back with another mouthwatering sneaker collaboration, this time dessert-themed ASICS GEL-Kayano 12.1 sneakers.

The collab is basically a sugar rush in dad shoe form, with details inspired by classic Korean treats. There's waffle-style mesh underlays inspired by — you guessed it — waffle ice cream cones. The designer has also sprinkled in some colorful accents, alongside fuzzy shoelaces for added sweetness and textural contrast.

It's sort of similar to Vandy the Pink's previous ASICS GEL-Nimbus 10.1 sneaker, which was designed alongside atmos in 2025. The three-way linkup resulted in three scoop-able ASICS sneakers.

The designer's latest ASICS "dessert" comes in two flavors, chocolate and vanilla. The chocolate pairs are a Vandy the Pink-exclusive, which has already been released and sold out on his website. However, the vanilla iterations will drop at ASICS on August 14.

Vandy and ASICS are even dropping their own ice cream scooper.

The ASICS sneakers will certainly fit right in amongst the other food-flavored sneakers as of late, like the "Oreo" Jordan 6s and chocolate-brown New Balances. But it also continues the designer's well-documented foodie journey.

See, it all started with Vandy the Pink's Dunk-inspired Burger shoes, which are exactly how they sound. As he began working with more brands, his fast-food obsessions didn't go away. They evolved, soon materializing as burger-themed Salomon sneakers, sesame-covered Clarks Wallabee shoes, and even tasty PUMAs.

Now, he's making the perfect scoop out of ASICS dad sneakers.
