Who: A$AP Rocky

Where: Outside Carbone restaurant, New York City

Editor's notes: As NYC begins to very tentatively re-open (NY restaurants are currently allowed to stay open until 11pm) the city's most fashionable are back to wine and dine in their enviable wares, including A$AP Rocky who was spotted having dinner with current beau Rihanna in Greenwich Village.

So, what does one wear for a date with Rihanna? Fashion virtuoso and color scheme expert A$AP Rocky opted for a creamy Noon Goons varsity jacket layered over some indigo-dyed denim paired with loose pinstripe pants, a plaid bucket hat, shades, and a face covering. On foot, the navy Converse Chuck Taylors are the humble threads that stitch this whole outfit together – making a very strong case for sticking to the classics when in doubt.

And speaking of "the classics," A$AP Rocky also outed himself as a Linkin Park and Sum 41 stan with stickers of the late ’90s rock bands decorating his steel lunchbox. Industry predictions of an imminent rock revival have been swelling over the last 12 months, and perhaps Flacko will be leading the charge, if not musically, at least with the angsty metallic accessories.

If you want to recreate the look, take a peek at some similar pieces below, and reanoint yourself with Linkin Park's seminal album Hybrid Theory here.
