If you managed to tune into the Super bowl game on Sunday, then you might have caught a glimpse of Marvel's new trailer for Avengers: Infinity War. In the 30 second spot, which you can watch above, fans were gifted with a few insights into the upcoming film as well as future ongoings in the Marvel Universe.

Featuring MCU's biggest superheroes, this epic new adventure celebrates 10 years of Marvel franchises and seeks to bring Thanos the Mad Titan to Earth. With Robert Downey Jr. at the helm, we've broken down a few takeaways from the trailer to help you get geared up for its cinematic release this Spring.

1. Thor and Guardians of the Galaxy

In the new spot, a team-up between the Avengers and the Guardians is likely to take place. Unfortunately, the partnership may not be as big as fans had hoped, but the visuals suggest that Thor will join forces with the Avengers, with the fellow Guardians expected to join in the film’s third act. Although uncertain, it currently stands that Thor's quest is for a new weapon: the enchanted battle axe known as Jarnbjorn.

2. Spiderman's Return

At the beginning of the trailer, we see Spiderman standing next to Iron Man and Doctor Strange, donning the previously never seen Iron Spider costume. In another scene, Parker can be seen clambering against the side of a mysterious object, reminiscent of the Tesseract, suggesting Thanos' return and Parker's increased responsibility to defend the earth.

3. The End of Loki

In a scene featuring what was previously confirmed to be Thanos’s vessel in flames, we briefly see a dejected Loki amidst the ruins. It's possible that he will be forced to hand over the Tesseract at last, but only the film will reveal whether or not he survives.

4. Steve Rogers Return

Perhaps one of the most important scenes in the trailer, the new visuals confirm the return of Steve Rogers, aka Captain America, also confirming that Vision survives Black Order's attack. What remains unclear is where this is set: if it's Avengers HQ, Wakanda or the offices of General “Thunderbolt” Ross. Regardless, Marvel is definitely bringing Captain America out of hiding.

5. Nanotech Armor

The new trailer has referenced Tony Stark's hi-tech "Prime Armor" suit from the Iron Man comics, with an update known as “Bleeding Edge Armor.” Composed of nanotechnology, the new designs are slated to be Stark’s most powerful armor, allowing him to morph into multiple forms as well as responding to Stark’s every thought. Although brief, the clip confirms the nanotechnology.

6. Battle of Wakanda

The final few scenes of the trailer quickly blend shots montage shots of New York and a battle in Wakanda. While fans are excited to see a partnership between Iron Man and Doctor Strange, let's face it, many viewers are getting ready for the upcoming Black Panther film. In this epic teaser shot, we can see the Avengers charging into battle, with T'Challa in tow.

Avengers: Infinity War will arrive in theaters on May 4th.
