Never one to shy away from stirring the pot, Banksy this week shares a new controversial piece in the form of a video surrounding this year's Venice Biennale art show. At the core, the clip sheds light on the global refugee crisis.

Banksy's video begins with an unidentified man setting up his artwork on the streets of Venice. The collection of paintings comes together to portray a large cruise ship surrounded by Venetian gondola boats. As those who walk by take in the artwork, the artist is then approached by the police because he has no permit for his booth.

In his accompanying caption on Instagram, Banksy says, "Setting out my stall at the Venice Biennale. Despite being the largest and most prestigious art event in the world, for some reason I’ve never been invited."
