Brand: BAPE

Season: Holiday 2018

Key Pieces: Either tee is solid, but I prefer the version with a mini Ape Head logo across the chest.

Editor’s Notes: BAPE continues to celebrate its momentous 25th anniversary, and following a special exhibition in Tokyo highlighted with an anniversary collection that included collaborations with various artists and brands, the streetwear giant now takes the celebration stateside with its first New York City BAPE HEADS SHOW taking place on December 6 at the Hulu Theater at Madison Square Garden.

In case you’re unaware, the first BAPE HEADS SHOW took place in 1997, and it’s essentially a special concert series honoring the artists and fans of the brand. Having already featured artists such as Kanye West, N.E.R.D, and more, this year’s event will spotlight Kid Cudi, Wiz Khalifa, Big Sean, Pusha-T, Lil Yachty, and DJ Cipha Sounds.

To further celebrate this milestone, BAPE is releasing a limited edition BAPE HEADS SHOW T-shirt featuring Baby Milo iterations of the artists performing, alongside the iconic Ape Head logo with the concert title. The tee, priced at $109, is rendered in white and now available for pre-order at BAPE’s NY and LA flagships, as well as online. The tee can also be purchased at the Hulu Theater during the concert.

Lastly, a second version of the exclusive tee rendered in black and white colorways, highlighted with an enlarged Ape Head logo featuring a collage of the Baby Milo artists, will be releasing exclusively at BAPE’s NY flagship on December 8.

Now, here’s a closer look at the forthcoming BAPE x PSG collaboration.
