Highsnobiety

2021 was always going to be a time to look forward, simply due to how unfortunate 2020 was. The quality of the first month of the post-2020 era is up for debate, granted, but if there’s one thing that signals a promising beginning, it’s this month’s happenings in fashion. January has been a surprisingly strong month for all sides of the sartorial landscape, from rescued fashion weeks to internet-breaking shows, and the number of standout goods to hit the figurative shelves of online stores suggests that we aren't the only ones optimistic about the near future.

Alongside the aforementioned trousers and footwear, January saw the first few signs of a thing called summer. Down-filled padding has taken a step back to make way for lightweight pastel shirting from Celine and transitional outerwear from Burberry.

As we’re all finding our 2021 feet, we know it’s been even harder to keep up to date with all the goings-on in the world of luxury fashion this month. That why Highsnobiety’s Rhianna Matthews has set aside some time to round up some of our top picks from the past month. So, without further ado, let’s give 2021 the stylish start that it deserves.
