As SS19 starts to hit stores (Virgil Abloh's Louis Vuitton debut just dropped), fashion is turning over another season and here we've shot an editorial highlighting the best of the upcoming spring/summer menswear collections.

Focusing on the new codes of luxury, this shoot sees the approaching SS19 styles tropes of athleisure bleed into a new take on men's tailoring with soft, loose (i.e. comfortable) cuts from the likes of Dries Van Noten's colorful SS19 collaboration with Verner Panton.

On the other side of the style spectrum, workwear has been elevated with even more utility  – the more pockets the better.  Meanwhile, Season 2 of the Rick Owens x Birkenstock collaboration can be seen with a pair of suitably geometric pants and plain seasonal tees.

For accessories, the humble bucket hat, a staple of European music festivals has been given a luxe update, as have the super-short shorts, worn here with athletic white socks and clean Nike Air Force 1s.

Model is wearing: Full look by Versace, sandals by Gucci, Model is wearing: Trousers and denim vest by OFF-WHITE, sweater by OAMC, shoes by Nike x A-COLD-WALL*
