Beyoncé & JAY-Z Made an Elevator Entrance During 'On the Run II' Tour
JAY-Z and Beyoncé made a grand entrance at the first show of their 'On the Run II' Tour in Cardiff, UK last night, descending upon the crowd in an elevator, a nod to the now-iconic 2014 Met Gala altercation between Solange and JAY-Z, which Beyoncé famously referenced on her "***Flawless (Remix)": “Of course sometimes shit go down / when it's a billion dollars on an elevator.”
Naturally, there is plenty of merch to go around to accompany the tour, including "RUN" graphic tees, OTR hoodies, Roc Nation caps, and items themed around Beyoncé's Lemonade album.
The duo will stop in 15 European cities before embarking on a tour of 21 North American cities, where they'll be joined by DJ Khaled and Chloe x Halle. Peep fan shot footage of the first night of the tour in Cardiff below, including Jay and Bey's performances of “Drunk in Love”, “'03 Bonnie & Clyde”, and more.
