C.P. Company has just unveiled the latest collection in its Metropolis Series and it’s a certified win. The cult Italian brand has long innovated at the intersection of fashion and function, and for Fall Winter 2025, it’s continuing that legacy by dropping a trifecta of technical upgrades that deeper enmesh the two worlds.
Founded in 1971 by a young graphic designer named Massimo Osti (the same visionary who would later give the world Stone Island and become known as the “godfather of urban sportswear”), C.P. Company swiftly cemented itself as a pioneer of technical innovation in the fashion space. And the Metropolis Series was proof. First introduced in 1999, the legendary Metropolis Jacket set the blueprint for what has since evolved into a full framework for navigating city life.
For Fall Winter 2025, the brand continues to explore its “Urban Agility” concept through a capsule defined by performance, versatility, and minimalist aesthetics. Three material innovations sit at the core of the drop: WINDSTOPPER® by GORE-TEX LABS lays down the foundation for the collection’s heaviest hitters. The fabric is found on two hooded outwear pieces — arriving in both short and long versions — and they’re fully windproof, water-repellent, and breathable. Both are fitted with detachable D.D. Shell down jacket so you can layer up or down depending on the season.
Then Pertex® brings a featherweight, 2.5-layer ripstop fabric with a micro-embossed backing into the mix, used across vests, overshirts, jackets, parkas, and bucket hats. The standout here are the two Bloom silhouettes, modular pieces with expandable side zips and concealed storage that feel purpose-built for city survival.
Lastly, A.A.C. (Advanced Adhesive Construction), a water-resistant, technical microfiber that cuts seam weight in half thanks to laser-cut, thermo-bonded design. The result is lighter, stronger outerwear with hidden pockets and removable down insulation. Again, this is available in two outerwear styles.
Beyond outerwear, the Metropolis Series doubles down on everyday adaptability. There are extrafine merino jumpers and stretch fleece hoodies for layering, mercerised jersey tees, utility trousers cut in technical Panama cotton, and multifunctional bags in C.P. Company’s rugged Rubber Reps Mixed fabric.
Every piece is designed to work together, modular and interchangeable. Think of it as a kit for navigating the city without looking like you’re trying too hard. A quietly engineered flex. Just see for yourself.
