Cardi B and Chance the Rapper talked politics on a recent episode of T.I.'s expediTIously podcast. In the session, both artists argued that all the signs are pointing to President Trump being reelected in 2020.

The three rappers were promoting their new Netflix reality series, Rhythm + Flow, when they landed on the subject. "I think Trump is going to win again at the next election because he's got the biggest base," Chance said and Cardi quickly agreed: "I really hate to say it, but sometimes I do believe that Trump will be winning."

The Bronx rapper and ardent supporter of Democratic candidate Bernie Sanders explained her reasoning sayings "Just because due to the fact that every single time I don't see nobody saying they love a Democratic candidate. There's no candidate that people are saying like we love, we want them to win."

Cardi then delved into what she believes is the Trump voters' psyche: "Some people don't give a fuck about the best ideas. They really vote with feelings [...]  and a lot of their feelings is racism and religion."

Meanwhile, Chance pointed to a lack of choice in how the US election system is laid out. He said that voters are "getting tricked into thinking that we have a choice" and that's why  "why we keep getting presidents that we don't want."

"There's two parties that pick who they want to run for office, and then there's a bunch of lobbying and money that gets thrown around, and eventually they come out and say, 'This is who our leader is, "Chance said.
