Chance the Rapper took to Twitter to announce his engagement to his longtime girlfriend Kirsten Corley. The couple were celebrating Fourth of July with friends and family when the rapper got on one knee and asked her to marry him.

The couple have a child together, Kensli Bennett, who they welcomed in 2015. Their relationship has had its twists and turns, though, with Corley previously requesting sole custody and child support shortly after their daughter’s birth. In early 2017 Chance and Corley seemed to have reconciled and in March of the same year, agreed to co-custody.
