Putting point toes on Chuck Taylors is one thing. Throwing fur on Converse sneakers is another thing. The latest drop offers both (and then some).

Converse Japan has designed a new sneaker known as the All-Star Pointed Toe Volume Fur Slip OX. It's essentially a laceless Chuck Taylor with formal-ish pointed toe boxes and an upper full of hair. Elsewhere, where there's no hair in sight, you'll find glossy leather, which makes the sneaker extra dressy.

The brand's Japan imprint typically dishes out the more adventurous Converse shoes, like loafer hybrids and square-toe hiking-style Chucks. It has done a couple of point-toe shoes before, including a sneaker-mule heel. But the latest slip-on sneakers go even bolder.

They're real hair-raisers.

Anywho, the furry point-toe slip-ons come in two colorways, black and brown. They're scheduled to drop on Converse Japan's website on October 16 for ¥11,000, which is around $70.
