Good things come in threes and that includes sneaker collections created by Reebok and Eames Studio.

A duo that first partnered up in 2021, Reebok and Eames are now onto their third collaborative collection, which will also be their last.

In an attempt to end their collaborative relationship with a bang, Reebok and Eames' new collection is the biggest yet and it includes new interpretations of the former's Classic Nylon, Instapump Fury 96, and cozy Beatnik Sandal.

Each shoe nods to a different aspect of Charles and Ray Eames's archive. The couple made groundbreaking contributions to a wide-ranging number of fields, from film to toy design, and are best known for their furniture.

Combining the work of two highly-regarded industrial designers with some of the most recognizable sneakers around, this third drop sees the two worlds come together perfectly (again).

Beginning with the slip-on Beatnik sandal, a shoe that has seen some top-tier collaborations over the years from the likes of Mountain Research and Needles, Eames' signature Crosspatch patterns have been added to the model's upper. Meanwhile, the bottom of the shoe features a custom outsole with three-dimensional fluid shapes.

This is the first time that Reebok and Eames Studio studio have worked on the Beatnik sandal and it has also taken on another footwear model for the first time, the Instapump Fury 95.

The co-branded, laceless sneaker has been given an all-over print repeating Eames' name in white against a grey background. More than just a piece of self-promotion, this print is a reference to the IBM pavilion designed for the 1964 World’s Fair (which Eames contributed to) and the repeated IBM lettering on the outside of the iconic, oval building.

The final model out of the three is one that we've seen Reebok and Eames Studio take on before, the Reebok Classic. Arguably the most famous of Reebok's sneaker models, the shoe’s side window features the Eames name in the designer’s distinctive colors.

Available to shop from December 11 on the Reebok website and from select retailers, this trio of footwear styles is one last hurrah for Reebok and Eames Studio. A collaboration that's delivered nothing but well-thought-out sneakers over the years, it will be missed.
