Last month we took a look at how Wolverine's claws would fair against a hydraulic press. Now, we're back to see just how deadly an electrified version of the claws really are.

Courtesy of the Hacksmith, we find a pair of electrified claws based on 2009's X-Men Origins: Wolverine. The claws measure 13 inches in length and are made from high carbon steel, nickel plated for a mirrored finish. After roughly 20 hours of manufacturing, the claws were then connected to a car battery in order to achieve a sparking effect.

In following up on an initial test, where the Hacksmith caught 50 pound hay bales with the claws, he in turn decided to try his hand at slicing through chicken wire and other materials that weren't exactly as solid as we'd initially hoped.

Nonetheless, to see these electrified Wolverine claws in action, press play above.
