This week in Friday Feuds the battle of the trap rappers wages on and an estranged mentor and mentee just can't get back on good footing. Plus, one of hip-hop's most controversial voices lands on the wrong side of public opinion (again), and a prankster takes the wind out of a newly single emcee's sails. There's also the obligatory fist fight, a lawsuit and much more...

Lil Wayne vs. Baby

This Tuesday Mr. Respek himself, Brian "Birdman" Williams stopped by ESPN's "Highly Questionable" to field a few questions from Dan Le Batard and Bomani Jones. The lighthearted interview didn't on the surface seem as though it should ruffle too many feathers (sorry, it was too easy).

However Birdman did mention Lil Wayne, his former mentee with whom he is currently embroiled in a very nasty lawsuit involving Cash Money, Young Money and Universal Records. The fallout has turned the former friends into enemies, so it's little surprise Wayne, who has appeared on "Highly Questionable" in the past, took the opportunity to shade, shade, shade...

Future vs. Desiigner

Ever since his chart-climbing single "Panda" exploded onto airwaves Desiigner has been fielding more Future comparisons than an MLB shortstop playing Little League baseball. The neophyte emcee isn't the only party sick of sharing the limelight with a vocal doppelgänger though. Future, the OG of slizzard, codeine rap let it be known during a recent Rolling Stone interview that he didn't even want to hear Desiigner's name...

"I never worried about anyone else … I don’t even want his name in the article"

Fair enough considering the article was about Future, nevertheless this hasn't been the first time Future has insinuated Desiigner is a non-factor. This April during a concert at in Syracuse, New York, Future took a brief performance pause to let his feelings on Desiigner and his one-time fiancée, Ciara, be known...

In May Future's artist Lil Donald also entered the fray to defend his boss. The rising rapper hopped on the "Panda" beat and took shots at what he felt was Desiigner's lack of originality...

Makes you wonder just who inspired Desiigner's, "Timmy Turner he be wishing for a burner to kill everybody walking," freestyle lyrics.

Kanye West vs. Public Opinion

Last week Kanye West treated a packed L.A. venue to the debut of the video for his single, "Famous." The visuals were inspired by artist Vincent Desiderio's 2008 painting, "Sleep." Featuring grainy, orgiastic footage of prone wax forms sleeping side by side naked, the video didn't sit well with many. Particularly because many of the featured nude bodies were those of famous celebrities ranging from disgraced comedian Bill Cosby to Taylor Swift, Ray J, Amber Rose, Donald Trump, Rihanna and Anna Wintour, and many more.

Per usual, West's artistic attempts were roundly lambasted by a number of prominent media figures. Girls creator Lena Dunham took to Facebook to share that she felt "sad" and "unsafe."

Piers Morgan also slammed West in a MailOnline column stating,

Your 'Famous' video is a shockingly tacky, hideously distasteful, darkly sinister porn movie, nothing more and nothing less.

Lil Wayne vs. Club Security

Weezy F. Baby may be small in stature but apparently that's not keeping him from scrapping. According to newly surfaced reports, Wayne got into an altercation with a bouncer at Los Angeles' Hyde Nightclub after members of his entourage were turned away at the door.

The bouncer was allegedly injured enough to require a hospital visit, he also reportedly called the police who are interested in speaking to the rapper about the incident...

Suge Knight vs. Chris Brown

This week in an ironic twist of fate, former Death Row Records CEO Marion "Suge" Knight is suing Chris Brown. Yes, you heard that correctly, Suge Knight, the dude who is currently on trial for murder, is suing R&B singer, Chris Brown.

It all goes back to an August 2014 nightclub in which Chris Brown was hosting a pre-VMA party. Unfortunately, a shooting occurred during the festivities and Knight reports that he took a bullet to the stomach and arm.He claims his life was endangered by Brown whom he believes is a gang associate.

Brown clapped back via this now-deleted Instagram post...

50 Cent vs. St. Kitts' Police

Despite his legal woes, 50 Cent is pressing on and performing at events worldwide. His latest show took him to the island of St Kitts for its annual music festival. However, when 50 hit the stage to perform his uncensored hit, "P.I.M.P." he forgot one little thing -- the fact that he was banned from cursing by law.

A blissfully oblivious 50 rapped, "No Cadillac, no perms, you can't see/That I'm a motherfucking P-I-M-P." He was promptly arrested at the conclusion of the show. Luckily the crime is only considered a misdemeanor so 50 will likely only pay a fine when it's all said and done.

Iggy Azalea vs. Prankster

After taking to Twitter to vent her heartache regarding her former fiancé Nick Young's trifling ways, Iggy Azalea probably deserved a break from the bullshit. However, one mischievous prankster wasn't feeling too empathetic.

As you can see, he approaches the rapper under the guise of being a fan before promptly going in for the kill by thanking her for ruining hip-hop. That's gotta hurt...
