What We’re Saying: Nigo and Human Made are never not collaborating. While currently prepping a release alongside KAWS, the Japanese label is also gearing up for yet another joint effort with adidas. Here, we find the frequent collaborators once again spotlighting the Tokio Solar, which is due to arrive in two new colorways in just a matter of days.

Created to coincide with the Tokyo Olympics, the Human Made x adidas Tokio Solar appears in blue and white and white and red iterations, each featuring breathable mesh underlays and suede overlays. Hits of leather add to the material composition, emerging via the Three Stripes branding on the side as well as the eyestays and at the heel. Below you will find adidas' Boost midsole tooling in white, making way for a Continental rubber outsole.

To signal the collaboration, Human Made's heart logo is debossed on one of the heels, while adidas' Trefoil insignia is applied to the other. The interior of the heel then features the year 2020, a nod to the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, which of course were pushed back to this year.

Look for the latest Human Made x adidas collab to arrive on July 24, just one day after the opening ceremony for the Olympics.
