Last week, both Netflix and Hulu premiered documentaries — Fyre and Fyre Fraud — that chronicled the rise and fall of the Ja Rule and Billy McFarland-founded disaster that was 2017's Fyre Festival. And as to be expected when one's dirty laundry is aired for the world to see, Ja Rule is not happy about it.

"I love how ppl watch a doc and think they have all the answers," is how the rapper's Twitter rant began, before moving on exclamations like, "I too was hustled, scammed, bamboozled, hood winked, lead astray!!!"

However, most of the statements in his rant are somewhat contradictory to recordings included in the documentaries. In Netflix's Fyre, for example, you can hear Ja Rule telling Fyre employees, “That’s not fraud, that’s not fraud. False advertising, maybe.”
