Yep, the beloved New Balance 550 "Conversations Amongst Us" sneaker is slated to restock on Thursday, August 11, alongside the 574 shoe.
As you can see from the official imagery, Joe Freshgoods' New Balance 550s boasts a pleasantly monochromatic off-white color scheme accented by deliberate yellowing, making the shoe objectively clean.
The 550's vintage aesthetic also plays on the latest narrative as told by Joe Freshgoods.
Through design, the shoe unravels the tough yet necessary talks held within Black households from one generation to the next.
I, like everyone else, fell in love with the rich 550 color scheme at first blush.
But, I was further reeled in by the shoe's timeworn features, which tastefully communicated the synopsis of the Conversations Amongst Us conceit.
Back in April, Conversations Amongst Us dropped a collection of cozy apparel, 550s, and 2002R sneakers, all under the creative guidance of Joe Freshgoods himself.
Though it wasn't a collaboration, per say, Joe Freshgoods' creative involvement and handsome sneaker colorways brought immense buzz from devotees of his previous NB projects.
When the Chicago designer first teased the creamy take on the New Balance 550 on Instagram, the sneaker was met with endless fire emojis and "need it" reactions, as you'd expect.
With the immense hype surrounding the 550s, it saw a swift sellout during the collection's initial drop, leaving no time for the shoe to collect even a smidgen of dust on the shelves.
I suspect this restock of the New Balance 550 "Conversation Amongst Us" will be no different, once again bringing much chatter and more Ls.
