Nike's Thicc Jordan Sneaker Does a Very Good Wallabee Impression
The Air Jordan 1 keeps evolving. Now, it's a thick-soled "derby" shoe.
It's another Jordan 1 Brooklyn sneaker, actually. The model debuted in 2023, featuring the Jordan 1's unmistakable upper but with super chunked-up, goth-girl-level soles. It comes in High and Low versions.
The newest release, however, features textured leather moccasin-style uppers, making it easily the classiest Jordan 1 Brooklyn yet. It also oozes Clarks Wallabee flavor now.
It's not alone, either. A few other Wallabee-coded sneakers have entered the mix recently, including Nike's own Shox TL and Vans Premium SF Moc.
Yeah, the Wallabee-ificiation of sneakers is getting real.
Anywho, the latest Jordan 1 Brooklyn Low sneaker is part of a "Derby Pack," which includes black and white colorways. The shoes keep their signature thick soles but with a dressy twist.
And somewhere deep down inside the formal-ish chunky model, the Jordan 1 still lives. Right now, it's just doing a really good moccasin impression.
The Jordan 1 Brooklyn Low "Derby Pack" sneakers are now up for grabs on Billy's website for ¥24,750, or around $161.
