Kanye West made an unexpected appearance at Chance the Rapper's "The Big Tour" kick-off show in Chicago last night. West came on stage soon after bringing his “Jesus is King: A Kanye West Experience” to the Auditorium Theatre– where fans were treated to a sneak peek at 'Ye's Nick Knight-directed IMAX film Jesus Is King.

West also played the most recent iteration of his soon to be released, Jesus is King. The amended tracklist include a reunited Clipse on the album's final track. Phones were locked in bags for the free listening event, but from the limited footage available it looks as though the current presentation of the forthcoming gospel album was well received in Chicago.

Following the listening event West headed across to United Center for the first stop on Chance's The Big Day Tour. The two Chicago rappers performed “All We Got” off Chance's 2016 mixtape, Coloring Book.

Chance performed at West's Chicago Sunday Service earlier this month, where he performed their collaborative track “Ultralight Beam.” Last year, Kanye tweeted that Chance helped him reconnect with his Jesus and his Chicago roots.
