Netflix has released the first official teaser of its upcoming reboot of the classic science fiction TV series Lost in Space, which is slated to debut on April 13.

While the last time we saw a variation of Lost In Space was in 1998 with a film directed by Stephen Hopkins, this upcoming television reboot essentially revolves on the Robinson family on a highly trained mission to establish a new colony in space, but unexpectedly pulled off course forcing them to crash land on a lost planet.

As the ending of the teaser shows, things naturally go awry, and you get to hear the iconic and robotic "Danger, Will Robinson!" callout.

Starring Molly Parker, Parker Posey, Toby Stephens, Ignacia Serricchio and more -- Lost in Space hits Netflix on Friday, April 13.

In more Netflix news, Derren Brown wants someone to commit murder in ‘The Push.’
