Louis Vuitton and Real Madrid are tying the knot. The French luxury house is entering a "an official multi-year partnership" with the club, it said in a release, debuting a bespoke Louis Vuitton wardrobe for Real Madrid athletes designed under the direction of Pharrell's LV Men's studio.

"Louis Vuitton and Real Madrid share foundational values that have propelled them to the highest peaks of their respective disciplines," Louis Vuitton CEO Pietro Beccari said.

In its statement, Louis Vuitton described the "Formal Wear and Formal Travel Wear Collections" created for Real Madrid's football and men's basketball teams, accompanied by an offering of comparatively casual ready-to-wear clothing.

"This wardrobe highlights the House's art of tailoring," said Louis Vuitton, pointing to subtle touches like clothing labels made of VVN, LV's signature beige "Vachetta Natural" cowhide, matching the "RM"-branded and Real Madrid tag-toting LV luggage.

The Louis Vuitton Real Madrid collection will not be made available for purchase, though LV notes that the Mon Monogram service utilized to personalize each players' luggage is available to all customers.

Prior to the 2025 Louis Vuitton partnership, Real Madrid teams were both sponsored and dressed by Zegna in accordance with a team-up that began in 2022.

However, rumors of the Louis Vuitton x Real Madrid partnership began long before they were announced, with football insiders excitedly resurfacing whispers for at least a year. Several Real Madrid players have been seen toting LV luggage, for instance, and in August 2024, LV named Real Madrid star Jude Bellingham a "Friend of the House."

The house produced a memorable Ronaldo-meets-Messi moment for the 2022 World Cup and Pharrell's Spring/Summer 2025 menswear collection was explicitly football-inspired, perhaps subtly foretelling Louis Vuitton x Real Madrid.
