Who better dupe the Miu Miu x New Balance sneaker than Miu Miu itself? Ok, so not literally, but I would be remiss not to point out how much Miu Miu's new Tyre sneaker looks like the Miu Miu x New Balance 530 SL sneaker.

Miu Miu's Tyre sneaker has the same curved toe and tan midsole as the 530 SL, but the Tyre sneaker is not as flat. And, of course, the Tyre sneaker doesn't have the New Balance logo on the side. It's all Miu Miu, all the way.

As the name suggests, the Miu Miu Tyre is inspired by the dynamic optics of an actual tire, reflected in the Tyre's rubber sole and streamlined build.

There's also a distinctly retro feel to the Tyre sneaker, a nod to Miu Miu's ‘90s heritage.

The Tyre sneaker comes in a laced and single-strap version, and the color palette sticks to warm neutrals, including mustard yellow, gray, cream, and olive green. I am shocked there isn't a Mocha Mousse moment in this collection, maybe one day.

2024 has undoubtedly been the year of footwear for Miu Miu. From a Clarks-coded bootie to an ultra-flat New Balance mule, Miu Miu left no stone unturned with its footwear offerings this year. And it’s not taking its foot off the gas, with a silver-colored New Balance collaboration also in the pipeline.
