What We’re Saying: Aimé Leon Dore has almost singlehandedly resurrected the New Balance 550. Since the brand's first 550 collaboration last year, the resurgent model has gone on to become a must-have for sneakerheads, having subsequently released in more obtainable general release colorways.

Following ALD's recent 550 drop, New Balance has delivered three new colorways for spring. We see the '90s basketball shoe offered in enticing collegiate-inspired schemes, each crafted from smooth leather. Featuring the brand's signature "N" branding on the side, as well as additional iconography on the tongue, heel, and toe, the new 550s come optioned in navy and yellow, red and blue, and green and yellow.

If you see a color combo you like, you can find the spring 550s available now in Asia through New Balance Japan (see the link below). Expect a stateside release to take place sometime in the near future.
