New balance

Brand: New Balance

Model: 550

Release Date: May 7

Price: $120

Buy: New Balance and select retailers

What We’re Saying: New Balance reintroduced the retro-flavored 550 with the help of Aimé Leon Dore and hasn't looked back. Since then, the brand has gone on to team up with other collaborative partners for upcoming drops, all while keeping fans interested with in-line colorways.

In just a matter of days, New Balance will be delivering the best general release colorways of the 550 to date. The basketball-inspired sneaker — which originally launched in 1989 — now appears in "Sea Salt/Varsity Gold," "Sea Salt/Burgundy," and "Sea Salt/Black" for Spring/Summer 2021. Each iteration is predominantly constructed from white leather, with grey suede utilized at the toe. The secondary hues provide vibrant pops of color via the N logos, 550 branding, and tongue tags, in addition to the collar, heel mold, and outsole.

For a clean silhouette that will bring timeless cool to your sneaker arsenal, pick up the spring 550 colorways through New Balance on May 7.
